This makes it the second-largest stadium in Premiership Rugby, symbolizing the team’s strong presence and fan base.

With the increasing emphasis on employee health and wellness, coupled with the vital requirement for hydration, Leicester Tigers embarked on a quest to find a user-friendly solution. This solution not only promotes better hydration among their personnel but also aligns with their sustainability goals by reducing the reliance on single-use packaged water through an efficient refill strategy. This initiative contributes to their overall objective of achieving Net Zero emissions.

THE SOLUTION:

LUQEL has recently implemented an advanced Water Station within the staff office and training facilities of Leicester Tigers. This state-of-the-art system delivers mineralised water directly from the mains supply, offering the ability to customize, track, and generate reports  that track the reduction in single use  plastic and CO2 footprint

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, this system empowers employees at Leicester Tigers to closely monitor their hydration levels and water intake—a crucial aspect in the professional sports environment. It allows both the players and office staff to create personalized water recipes that promote consistent hydration throughout their day.

LUQEL Water Stations present a diverse selection of 30 distinct recipes, carefully curated to address various aspects of an individual’s daily routine. These recipes include low, medium, and heavy mineralised waters, ensuring that every consumer can discover a water option that perfectly suits their preferences and needs. Aiming to provide an enjoyable and satisfying experience with water consumption. These recipes accurately emulate other water brands in the bottled water industry, ensuring that you don’t have to compromise on the taste of your favourite branded water.

The Experience:

As part of the onboarding process, each employee and player at Leicester Tigers received a LUQEL smart bottle and received guidance on how to sync it with the LUQEL water balancer app on their smartphones.

Once the pairing was complete, employees began exploring and discovering their preferred mineralised waters. They had the opportunity to experiment and fine-tune their water preferences. Ultimately, their favourite mineralised water selections were conveniently added to their smart bottles through the app.
